The number of COVID-19 cases in Mizoram crossed the 900-mark after 8 more persons tested positive for the virus on Saturday.
The overall coronavirus cases tally has reached 903. As per the latest report by directorate of information & public relations (DIPR), Mizoram, of the total positive cases registered so far, 747 are males and 156 are females.
Of the fresh cases, Aizawl has reported 5 cases, 2 positive cases from Kolasib district and 1 case has been detected in Serchhip district.
While 6 cases have been confirmed in RT-PCR test at Zoram Medical College (ZMC), 2 other cases were confirmed during Rapid Antigen Test.
The total active cases in Mizoram stands at 483, while 2 individuals migrated from the state.
So far, a total of 421 patients have been discharged from various hospitals or Covid Care Centres after their recovery. No COVID-19 related death has been reported in the state till date.
