State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “276 new #COVID19+ cases detected in Assam today.”

Meanwhile, the number of recoveries in the state crossed the 4,000-mark with 75 more patients being discharged on Thursday.

The active cases has gone up to 2,601 while 4,033 have recovered from the disease so far.
