With 10 fresh cases, Manipur’s COVID-19 tally touch 500

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Manipur touched 500 on Tuesday, with the detection of 10 more positive coronavirus cases. Among the 10 fresh cases, 4 have been confirmed
The total number of COVID-19 cases in Manipur touched 500 on Tuesday, with the detection of 10 more positive coronavirus cases.
Among the 10 fresh cases, 4 have been confirmed positive at the VRDLs of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) and 6 were detected Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS).
Of the positive patients, 6 are from Senapati district while 4 others are from Imphal West district.
All individuals (3 males and 7 females) are returnees to the state from other parts of the country. They have been shifted to the Covid Care Facilities.
The number of active cases now stands at 341, while 159 patients have been discharged after recovery from the disease.
The recovery rate is at 31.8 percent. No reports of casualty or community transmission has been reported so far.
As per the latest information, out of those 341 active cases 102 are in RIMS, 130 in JNIMS, 34 in District Hospital Bishnupur and 75 in newly set up treatment centre UNACCO.
