The number of COVID-19 cases in Assam continues to rise as 193 more have tested positive on Wednesday night, taking the state’s overall tally to 3,285.

With these fresh cases, the days total stands at 235. The active cases has gone up to 2027.

Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “193 more #COVID19+ cases reported in Assam, taking today’s total to 235.”

Meanwhile, with the discharge of 152 COVID-19 patients earlier in the day, the number of recovered cases in Assam has increased to 1249.
