Two more persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Manipur, taking the total number of cases in the state to 311. Both positive cases are females (aged 21 and 25
Two more persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Manipur, taking the total number of cases in the state to 311.
Both positive cases are females (aged 21 and 25 yrs). They were confirmed positive at the VRDL, Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS).
The fresh cases were reported from the state’s Pherzawl district. Both had travel history to other states in the country- a statement issued by the COVID-19 Common Control Room said.
The two patients health are said to be in stable condition. They have been shifted to Covid Care facilities in Imphal.
Meanwhile, contact tracing is on and the district authorities have taken up all necessary control measures.
The total number of positive cases has gone up to 311 and the active cases to 248.
