Four new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday, taking the state’s overall tally to 61.
According to the latest update shared on Wednesday night by the Directorate of health services, Arunachal Pradesh, the new positive cases have been reported from Changlang and East Siang districts.
Of the fresh cases, 3 cases have been reported from the Changlang district, while one has been reported from the East Siang district.
All four patients are returnees from other parts of the country. They were in quarantine facilities and have been shifted to Covid Care Centre.
Meanwhile, the health department informed that two persons were discharged from the quarantine facility at Lekhi ICR and they have been advised to undergo strict 14-day home quarantine.
