Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma taking to Twitter informed that 183 more COVID-19 patients have been discharged from various civil, districts and model hospitals of the State.

The patients have been discharged after they tested negative for COVID-19.

With the discharge of these patients, the number of recovered people in Assam has increased to 1,432.

While Assam has reported a total 3,319 COVID-19 cases, the active cases in the state stands at 1,878. Six deaths due to coronavirus have been reported so far.
