5 more COVID-19 cases in Manipur; state tally at 309

Five more persons belonging to Imphal East district have tested positive for COVID-19 in Manipur on Tuesday. They were confirmed positive at the VRDL, Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences
Five more persons belonging to Imphal East district have tested positive for COVID-19 in Manipur on Tuesday. They were confirmed positive at the VRDL, Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS).
The active cases in the state have now increased to 248, with overall cases tally at 309.
All fresh cases are returnees from other parts of the country. They are in stable condition and have been shifted to Covid Care facilities in Imphal.
The total number of tests conducted in the state has reached 19,854. The positivity rate is at 1.56 percent.
Meanwhile, out of 868 samples tested at the VRDL, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) and all samples were found COVID-19 negative.
