48 more positive cases of COVID-19 have emerged in Tripura on Friday. The total cases in the state has risen to 695.

With these, the active cases tally stands at 522 and 173 have been discharged after recovery.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on his official Twitter handle informed the fresh cases were found positive out of 1,026 samples tested for coronavirus.

Deb mentioned that all the positive cases have travel history. He urged people to stay safe and follow government’s norms on COVID-19.

“4️⃣8️⃣ people found COVID-19 #POSITIVE in Tripura out of 1026 samples tested. All of them have travel history,” Biplab Deb tweeted.

“Stay safe, follow the Government norms,” the Chief Minister added.
