Assam HSLC Results 2020 declared: Dhritiraj Kalita tops with 99.16 per cent

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has announced the results of High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) examinations for the year 2020 at 9 AM

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has announced the results of High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) examinations for the year 2020 at 9 AM on Saturday.

Dhritiraj Bastav Kalita, a student of Padum Pukhuri High School at Sipajhar has topped the HSLC examination this year. Dhritiraj secured the 1st position with 595 marks out of total 600.

Alangkrita Gautam Baruah of Salt Brook School, Dibrugarh has grabbed the 2nd position with 594 marks.

Meanwhile, 3 students were able to make it to the 3rd spot in the rankingsn. They are Debisma Priya Borah of Gyanjyoti Academy, Narayanpur, Jyotishman Deva Sarma of Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Barbhag and Chaki B Gulton of St Mary’s HS Shool in Guwahati. They have scored 591 marks.

Namashya Deka of Little Flower School, Nalbari and Hiyashree Sarma of Dakshin Guwahati Jatiya Vidyalaya secured the fourth rank. They have scored 590 marks.

In the 5th rank, Mansah Uttam Neog of Nilmoni Adarsha Jatiya Vidyalaya, Ankurjyoti Bezbaruah of Udyan Santi Niketan, Bezera and Hirakjyoti Baishya of Karia Higher Secondary School scored 589 marks.

Among four students who secured the 6th rank by scoring 588 marks are Harsh Vardhan Maheshwari of Marian High School, Haridra Bora of Sacred Heart High School, Golaghat, Ranuj Jyoti Baruah of Gyanjyoti Academy, Narayanpur, Himashree Baruah of Fuleswari Girls HS School, Sivasagar.

Avilasha Dutta of St. Mary’s High School, North Lakhimpur and Jhalak Jalan – St Anthony’s English School, Nagaon secured the 7th rank with 587 marks.

Five students – Anisha Roy of Holy Cross H S School, Cachar, Nikhilesh Dutta of Sankardev Vidya Niketan, Ramdia Simram Borah of Brookfield School Lakhimpur, Antariksh Hazarika of Namti Chariali Jatiya Bidya Niketan, Sivasagar and Anwesha Changkakoti of Don Bosco High School, Tinsukia secured the 8th rank with 586 marks.

Ten students secured the 9th rank with 585 marks. They are Bhrigu Mohan Kumar of Srimanta Sankardev Vidyalaya, Darrang. Rajdeep Baruah of Srimanta Sishu Niketan, Kakodonga, Niharika Bharali of Golaghat Jatiya Vidyalaya, Golaghat, Silpi Sikha Deka of Palashtal Kachamari High School, Nagaon, Masum Mehtab of Sankardev Sishu Niketan Baharghat, Imon Baishya of Sankardeb Sishu Niketan, Baharghat, Abhinab Gogoi of St Joseph’s High School, Moranhat, Abhinash Keot of St Stephen’s High School, Tinsukia, Ananya Medhi of Assam Jatiya Bidyalaya, Noonmati and Niraj Khetan of Happy Child High School, Guwahati.

With 584 marks, 11 students secured the 10th rank – Puja Banerjee of Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Bahari, Prerana Deka of Bongaigaon HS School, Bongaigaon, Paarsaa Tasbeed Barbhuiya of Silchar Collegiate School, Silchar, Anadita Konwar of Xt Xavier’s School Mancotta, Bhargab Jyoti Das of Sankardev Vidya Niketan, Ramdia, Alindita Kalita of Klirdap Sabkardev Sishu Niketan, Diphu, Diwiz Bikash of St Mary’s High School, North Lakhimpur, Ankita Dey of Good Samaritan English High, Nagaon, Rittik Kumar Sut of Pranjal Memorial Academy, Nagaon, Sashanka Haloi of Ananda Vidya Niketan, Nalbari, Misbahul Karim of Little Star School, Sonitpur Chariali.

Meanwhile, Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal and health and education minister Himanta Biswa Sarma congratulated the HSLC candidates.

“Heartiest congratulations to all my young friends who came out with flying colours in the HSLC & AHM Examinations 2020. My best wishes for a bright future ahead. Those who didn’t get expected results should not lose hope & keep working hard. Success will definitely be yours,” Assam CM tweeted.

On the other hand, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Heartiest congratulations to Class X students on your results. Those who may not have done well, don’t lose heart for success is sum of small efforts. Special compliments to parents and teachers for your patience & hard work. Wish you all a glorious future ahead.”
