Five new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Mizoram on Friday. With these fresh cases, the state total has gone up to 22.
The 5 new cases (3 males and 2 females) were among the 340 samples tested on Thursday.
Among them 4 are inpatients of Zoram Medical College (ZMC). While another patient is under institutional quarantine at Lunglei.
On Friday morning, Mizoram DIPR in their official Twitter handle informed, “From 340 samples which were tested yesterday (4.6.2020) at ZMC Lab, 5 samples have been confirmed positive. 4 are inpatients at ZMC. One is under institutional quarantine at Lunglei.”
Meanwhile, the number of active cases in the State stands at 21. The state’s first positive patient was discharged from the hospital after recovery.
