Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday registered 10 more fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 38.
Of the fresh cases, 9 are from Changlang district and one from the capital region. The number of active cases in the state has risen to 37 and one recovered.
Changlang, in the Eastern part of Arunachal Pradesh, recorded the highest the highest number of cases with 37, while Itanagar’s capital complex marked the second highest spike with seven cases.
Other districts like Lohit, Namsai, Pakke Kessang, Tawang and Upper Siang have one COVID-19 positive patient each.
All the patients have been detected from the facility quarantine centre. Reportedly, they are all asymptomatic and have been shifted to the Covid Care centre in the respective districts.
The first positive case which was detected in 1st of April from Tezu, a Tabighi Jamaat attendee from New Delhi has been discharged after being admitted at the Tezu government hospital for 14 days.
