Manipur’s COVID-19 tally rises to 89 with four more +ve cases

Four more positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Manipur on Tuesday. The total cases count in the state has reached 89. Of the 4 patients, a 36-year-old female

Four more positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Manipur on Tuesday. The total cases count in the state has reached 89.

Of the 4 patients, a 36-year-old female was diagnosed as COVID-19 positive at the VRDL, RIMS. She is from Imphal East District and a returnee from Delhi.

Another 3 females (aged 18, 21 and 22 yrs) from Imphal East district were also found COVID-19 positive at VRDL, JNIMS. The first is a returnee from Pune, while two others are Delhi returnees.

Meanwhile, a baby boy (35 days old) along with his 21-year-old mother and 19-year-old aunt was discharged from JNIMS after testing COVID 19 negative on two consecutive tests.

The total number of recovered cases in the state has increased to 14, with 75 active cases.
