Amidst the nationwide lockdown, flight services between Guwahati-Pasighat resumed on Thursday with the first flight ATR-72 of Alliance Airlines landing at the Pasighat Airport in East Siang district of Arunachal
Amidst the nationwide lockdown, flight services between Guwahati-Pasighat resumed on Thursday with the first flight ATR-72 of Alliance Airlines landing at the Pasighat Airport in East Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh.
East Siang District Dy Commissioner, Dr Kinny Singh and Supt of Police Rajiv Ranjan Singh were present at the airport to ensure that SOPs are maintained by the officers and security personnel on duty.
Briefing the media, DC Singh informed that details of the passengers were duly recorded and screened on arrival and later they were sent for quarantine. Moreover, no relatives or friends of the passengers were allowed to visit the airport.
Singh further informed that newly issued SOPs by the civil aviation ministry for security was strictly followed.
Deployed security personnel were provided sanitizers, head shields and gloves and those who were in direct contact with the passengers were given PPE kits as an added safety measure.
