Assam govt to disburse full salaries, pensions for May

The employees and pensioners under the Assam Government will get full salaries and pensions for the month of May, informed Assam Health and Finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Twitter.

Taking to Twitter, Sarma announced that the government has decided to disburse full salaries and pensions for the month of May.

Expressing his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Sarma wrote, “This is possible due to the release of devolution grant by union govt.”

On the other hand, Sarma stated that the revenue collection of the State government has also shown gradual improvement.
