2 more test COVID-19 positive in Assam; tally reaches 597

Two new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Assam. With 528 active cases, the total positive cases count on Tuesday reached 597. Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted,

Two new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Assam. With 528 active cases, the total positive cases count on Tuesday reached 597.

Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Two new cases of #COVID19+ reported from Nagaon.”

Earlier in the day, 47 cases of coronavirus were reported in the state. Of which, 21 cases were from Golaghat, 4 from Lakhimpur, 8 from Morigaon, 3 from Goalpara, 1 from Hojai, 1 from MMCH, 2 from Karbi Anglong and 5 from Nagaon.
