22-year-old girl tests COVID-19 positive in Manipur

A 22-year-old female have tested positive for COVID-19 in Manipur on Saturday, taking the overall tally to 7. The girl was found positive after her samples were sent for testing

A 22-year-old female have tested positive for COVID-19 in Manipur on Saturday, taking the overall tally to 7.

The girl was found positive after her samples were sent for testing at VRDL, JNIMS. She developed fever on 14th May and was immediately brought to District Hospital Churachandpur and admitted in COVID-19 isolation facility.

The girl arrived in Manipur from Chennai on the train arranged by the state government. She was quarantined at the community quarantine centre (St. Stephen School), Saikot.

With 5 active cases, the total number of positive cases have risen to 7 in the state, 2 persons have fully recovered.
