Nagaland: Assam Rifles helps set up 200-bed quarantine facility in Wokha district

The Wokha Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) have stepped forward to help the Wokha district administration in preparing quarantine facilities for the citizens returning

The Wokha Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) have stepped forward to help the Wokha district administration in preparing quarantine facilities for the citizens returning back to Nagaland.

Wokha Battalion of Assam Rifles have provided assistance to District Administration, to include 200 wooden beds in order to set up a quarantine facility at Mount Tiyi College and Government School, Wokha for the stranded workers and students coming to Wokha district from other parts of the country.

Wokha district have currently set up 11 quarantine facility centres with a total bed of 289
The 200 beds provided by the Assam Rifles will increase the number of beds to 489.

The District Administration of Wokha appreciated the humanitarian gesture of Assam Rifles during these testing times.
