The BJP has named Jyotiraditya Scindia as its Rajya Sabha candidate from Madhya Pradesh soon after he joined the party.

Scindia who had quit the Congress on Tuesday, joined the BJP in the presence of party president JP Nadda.

Speaking to the media after joining the BJP, Scindia expressed happiness and hoped that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he will be able to serve the people of the country.

Scindia further slammed the Congress, saying that the Congress is in a denial of reality mode, which has changed what the party used to be.
