Meghalaya Chief minister Conrad Sangma on Monday said that his cabinet has not taken any decision so far on stripping James Sangma from the Home Minister’s portfolio.
The Chief Minister further stated that the discussions are on to sort out any possible issues on the matter with the cabinet ministers and he is hopeful that the matter would be resolved through talks.
Sangma was reacting to the recent reports that there is a growing chorus in the coalition seeking removal of James Sangma.
The opposition Congress is also targeting the government over the issue of illegal transportation of coal.
