Addressing the mega rally at Kokrajhar to celebrate the signing of Bodo Peace Accord today, prime minister Narendra Modi has assured the people of Assam that Clause 6 of the historic Assam Accord would be implemented soon.

“The Govt is now trying to implement Clause 6 of the Assam Accord. I want to assure the people of Assam that after the Committee submits its report, the central government will act on it swiftly. We’re going to solve the problem that had persisted for years,” said PM Modi.

“The Assam Govt has taken several big decisions regarding the Bodo language and tradition and has started some schemes as well. Bodo Territorial Council, Assam Govt and the Central Govt is now working together and will give ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas, Sabka Vishwas’ will be emboldened,” he further added.
