As the 3rd Khelo India Youth Games entered its second day, Assam Eve Upasa Talukdar made the whole of the state proud by securing a silver and another bronze to her kitty to take her medal haul to three, amid a disappointing show from most of the Assam players competing in their respective events.

Upasa on Saturday won a silver medal in the under-17 Rhythmic Gymnastics (Ball) event while picking up her second bronze in the under-17 Rhythmic Gymnastics (Rope) event.

On the opening day, Upasa bagged an individual bronze for Assam in the All-round Rhythmic Gymnastics event. It is hosts Assam’s first medal in the the 3rd Edition of the mega sporting spectacle.

Assam is currently placed in the 17th place in the standings.
