Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is on a two-day tour to Arunachal Pradesh to take part in the Maitree Diwas celebrations. Rajnath Singh landed at the Tawang helipad at around 12:10pm
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is on a two-day tour to Arunachal Pradesh to take part in the Maitree Diwas celebrations.
Rajnath Singh landed at the Tawang helipad at around 12:10pm where he was received by Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
Later, the Defence Minister visited the famous Tawang war memorial before reaching the Gyalwa Tsangyang Gyatso High Altitude stadium to attend the Maitree Diwas celebrations.
During his visit, the Defence Minister will also inaugurate a crucial bridge over the Sisar River.
It may be mentioned that this is the 11th edition of Maitree Diwas which celebrates Civil-military bonhomie.
