The first session of meeting between the Government of India and the NSCN-IM has ended on Wednesday, both the parties will be sitting for the second session of the meet later today.

The meeting comes after the round of talks ended on an an inconclusive note on Tuesday. Today’s meeting is the third meet between both the sides in a span of three days.

Both sides are looking to come at a consensus on the key issues of a separate flag and constitution before tomorrow’s deadline.

As per sources, a 15-member delegation of the NSCN-IM led by its general secretary Th Muivah is conducting the talks with Nagaland governor and central interlocutor RN Ravi.

Both the NSCN-IM and the government of India have so far refused to budge from their respective stands on the separate flag and constitution issue.
