The Naga People’s Front on Wednesday asserted that the party would extend full cooperation for any peaceful and amicable settlement to the vexed Naga political issue.

At a time when the talks have almost reached a conclusion, the Nagaland’s opposition party called upon newly appointed Governor RN Ravi to discuss on the ongoing peace talks issue.

During deliberations with Governor RN Ravi, the NPF reiterated that the Naga political problem is the top priority for the party.

The party also asserted that it is ready to pave way for any new arrangement for the welfare of the Naga people.

In a release, the NPF hoped that an amicable solution will come soon under the initiatives of the Governor who is also the interlocutor of the peace talks.
