The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has put the death sentence of Kulbushan Jadav on hold asking Pakistan to review its order of death sentence.

The verdict comes as a big win for India. Significantly the verdict was pronounced in favour of India with a 15 is to 1 vote.

The ICJ while pronouncing the verdict said the court finds that Pakistan deprived India of the right to communicate with and have access to Jadhav and thereby breached obligations incumbent upon it under Vienna Convention on Consular relations.
