In a major breakthrough in the Tirong Aboh assassination case, security forces have apprehended a senior NSCN cadre for his alleged involvement in the brutal assassination of Arunachal Pradesh’s Khonsa

In a major breakthrough in the Tirong Aboh assassination case, security forces have apprehended a senior NSCN cadre for his alleged involvement in the brutal assassination of Arunachal Pradesh’s Khonsa West NPP MLA Tirong Aboh and ten others in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh on May 21.

The cadre – Ano k Wangsu hails from Longding district in Arunachal Pradesh. Wangsu was nabbed by the security forces in Nagaland. Wangsu and his son were actively involved in the assassination of Aboh.

After large scale protests, the Arunachal Pradesh government handed over the case to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which is currently investigating the case.
