The NPP has announced its decision to support BJP in Arunachal Pradesh. The move comes in the backdrop of blow hot, blow cold relationship that is going on between NPP and BJP in Manipur.

Arunachal NPP President Gicho Kabak called on Arunachal state BJP president Tapir Gao in New Delhi today and extended the party’s conditional support and decided to work together for the all round development of the state.

Gao said the BJP-led government in Arunachal would take all parties like the NPP and JDU together after proper discussions with the national presidents of alliance parties shortly.

While praising Tapir Gao for raising key issues in the Parliament, Gicho Kabak urged the BJP MP to raise the issue of China constructing 2-kms of road inside the Indian territory in Bishing village in Upper Siang’s Tuting sub-division in the Parliament.

Kabak also expressed his concern over the fact that neither officials of the state government or the Centre have reached Bishing to inspect the site.
