Assam girl Tania Choudhury has made the region proud by winning bronze medal in Women’s Triple International event in the Asia Pacific Lawn Bowling Championship held at Gold Coast in Australia on Thursday.
Earlier on June 21 she won a bronze medal in individual event. Tania who hails from Guwahati defeated Commonwealth Games Champion from Japan Keiko Kurohara to grab the spot.
As many as 19 bowling nations from Asia and Oceania took part in the championship which was held across three host clubs in Gold Coast.
