West Indies batting legend Brian Lara was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after he complained of chest pain. Lara was brought to the Global Hospital in Parel at around 12.30

West Indies batting legend Brian Lara was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after he complained of chest pain.

Lara was brought to the Global Hospital in Parel at around 12.30 p.m and medical investigations were started immediately. As per sources, Lara was at an event in a nearby hotel when he complained of discomfort.

Brian Lara, who turned 50 on May 2, is one of the greatest batsmen in history. He holds the record for the highest individual score, an unbeaten 501 and is the only man to score 400 in a Test match.
