A hardcore cadre of the lesser known militant outfit titled the Eastern Naga National Government was arrested by the D Company of the CRPF’s Cobra battalion.
The militant has been identified as Jawrip Singpho and was arrested from the Mihali Ritu area under Bordumsa police station in Assam’s Tinsukia district. A one point 22 pistol along with seven live rounds were recovered from him.
The ENNG militant outfit was raised in 2016 and as per reports, the first batch of around 80 cadres underwent arms training in Bangladesh.
