Tripura government is mulling over to start e-bus service in the state. Tripura Transport Minister Pranjit Singh Roy said that the state government will require a fund of Rs 1.50
Tripura government is mulling over to start e-bus service in the state.
Tripura Transport Minister Pranjit Singh Roy said that the state government will require a fund of Rs 1.50 crore in order to build infrastructure to start the electronic bus service project.
He also mentioned that under the central government’s scheme for e-buses, the state government will also be able to procure electronic buses with a subsidy of Rs 50 lac.
He added that the government will soon take a decision on this matter in an effort to bring emission-free transport to reduce pollution.
