Amid the nationwide Doctors’ stir demanding the safety and security of the fraternity, a delegation of the striking junior doctors met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday at the state secretariat.

As per latest reports, Mamata Banerjee during the meeting with representatives of the striking doctors said that the state government has taken adequate measures in view of the assault on NRS doctors last week.

The doctors have called off their strike after the West Bengal chief minister relented agreeing to most of their demands.
