EC orders repolling in two booths in Arunachal Pradesh

The Election Commission of India on Saturday ordered repoll in 2 polling stations of Arunachal Pradesh.

Speaking to media, the Deputy Chief Electorate officer of the state, Liken Kiyo said that the polling booths of 28 Nampe polling station under 21 Koloriang assembly constituency and 6 the Gimba polling station under 20 Tali Assembly Constituency will face fresh polling for both Assembly and Parliamentary seats on may 21 from 6 to 2 pm.

Linken also said that the security arrangements are also made in both the stations. It may be mentioned that in the Nampe poll booth there was booth capturing on April 27 and the Gimba poll station voters were deprived of voting after miscreants cut off a bridge on April 25.
