Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi has been given a clean chit in the sexual harassment case levelled against him.
A three judge Supreme Court panel investigating the allegations gave a clean chit to the CJI on Monday.
The in-house committee, headed by Justice S.A. Bobde, did not find any substance to the allegations levelled against the CJI by a former Supreme Court employee. The in-house committee also included Justices Indu Malhotra and Indira Banerjee.
As per reports, the committee submitted its report to the next senior judge competent to receive the report.
