The ruling Mizo National Front (MNF) announced its official candidate for the lone Lok Sabha seat in the state on Wednesday.

C Lalrosanga, a former Director General of Doordarshan, would be the party’s official candidate.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister and MNF President Zoramthanga while announcing the name of Lalrosanga for the Lok Sabha polls, said that MNF would not have alliance with any party and would contest the Lok Sabha polls alone.
