In a big win for Indian security forces, mastermind of the dastardly Pulwama terror attack Mudassir Khan was gunned down in an encounter at Tral in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Briefing newspersons, Commander of Chinar Corps of the Indian Army confirmed this and also said that 18 terrorists have been eliminated in the past 21 days which included 14 from the Jaish-e-Mohammad, the terror group involved in the Pulwama attack.

As per reports, the encounter took place after security forces received inputs about the presence of terrorists in the district.

Subsequently, a search operation was launched which led to the militants opening fire on the security forces.
