In a major infrastructure push in the Barak Valley of Assam, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal laid the foundation stones for projects worth Rs 200 crore in Silchar on Saturday.
The Assam Chief Minister laid base of the Mini Secretariat for Barak Valley in Silchar, new auditorium cum district library in Silchar, sports stadium at Police Parade Ground in Silchar and Cultural Research Centre in Barak Valley at the Assam University complex.
