A joint delegation of the AASU and NESO called on Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai to seek support against the Citizenship Amendment Bill.

The delegation was led by AASU chief adviser Samujjal Bhattacharya and NESO chairman Samuel Jyrwa.

It may be mentioned that the AASU and NESO leaders were camping in the national capital to drum up support against the bill.

The student body leaders today met Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on the issue.

The Shiv Sena has already assured to oppose the Citizenship Bill in the Rajya Sabha.
