Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb held a meeting with senior officials of the Government on the proposed visit of Prime Minister Modi to the state.
Modi is slated to visit Tripura on February 9 on a day-long visit where he will inaugurate a number of developmental projects including a new teaching block of the Tripura Institute of Technology.
Reports suggest that Modi will also interact with members of the State cabinet including Chief Minister Biplab Deb and other party leaders to discuss crucial political issues ahead of the General elections.
