Tripura bagged the best state tableau in this year’s 70th Republic Day parade with the theme ‘Empowering Rural Economy the Gandhian Way’.

The tableau showcased egalitarian, inclusive and diverse social and ethnic culture linked to the Gandhian principles besides splendid attraction of tourism and heritage on Republic day.

Besides, it also showcased the scenic and natural beauty of Tripura Sundari temple along with the form of folk dances of the Tripuri tribes.

As many as 16 states and six ministries and departments participated in this year’s Republic Day parade.
