Hojai Additional District and Sessions judge awards death penalty to accused in 2017 rape-murder of minor

The court of Additional District and Sessions judge in Assam’s Hojai has awarded death penalty to 27 year old Krishna Rajgarh for the rape and murder of a minor girl.
The court of Additional District and Sessions judge in Assam’s Hojai has awarded death penalty to 27 year old Krishna Rajgarh for the rape and murder of a minor girl.
The brutal crime was committed on February 5, 2017. Krishna alias Sagar was handed capital punishment under sections 363, 302 and 201 of the IPC.
The sentence was pronounced on Friday day by judge N S Deuri at the sessions court.
