Sensational incident of violence against women comes to light in Assam after the half burnt body of a woman was recovered from Naharbari in Mangaldoi district.

According to reports, the woman was declared brought-dead by hospital authorities. Surprisingly, the husband of the deceased is an Assam Police personnel.

Although no FIR has been lodged into the case till now, it has been alleged that the woman has been murdered by her in-laws.

Meanwhile, sensation prevails in the locality after the spine-chilling incident came to light.
