The 41st President of the United States, George Bush senior passed away at the age of 94 on Friday night at his home in Houston.

George Bush Junior, his son and 43rd American President released a statement last evening to announce his father’s death.

The former President was suffering from a form of Parkinson’s disease that forced him to use a wheelchair in recent years, and he had been in and out of hospitals during that time as his health declined.

George H.W. Bush served as the President of the United States of America from 1989 to 1993. He is now survived by 4 sons and a daughter.
