The All Assam Students’ Union today slammed the Assam government on the NRC issue.
AASU General Secretary Lurin Jyoti Gogoi alleged that the Assam Government is working on a hidden agenda of derailing the entire NRC Update Process. The students organisation reiterated its stand of a Bangladeshi free NRC.
Speaking on the issue Chief Advisor of the Students’ organisation Samujjal Bhattacharya said that it will take a decision on further course of action on the issue on December 7.
