The Northeast Students’ Organisation taking its protest against the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Bill to every nook and corner of the region carried out protests in Itanagar on Friday.
After the November 20 protest in Assam’s capital city Guwahati, the students’ organisation demonstrated at Tennis Court in Itanagar’s IG Park.
Protesters in large numbers demonstrated against the proposed Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, chanting slogans against the Bill.
Earlier in the day, a massive bike rally was also organised, the rally started at Nyikum Nyia and culminated at Tennis Court in Itanagar’s IG Park.
