The High level Committee which met for the fifth time to find out a permanent solution to the trouble over relocating residents of Sweeper Colony has received the relevant documents from all the departments.

Speaking to media persons after the meeting, chairman of the Committee, Prestone Tynsong said that the Shillong Municipal Board on November 25 had issued a public notice where it asked all the residents of the colony to submit their documents and the last date for submission of documents is December 10.

On the other hand, another member of the committee, Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar while speaking to media said that the Committee is also in the process of identifying some alternatives places to shift the Municipal Board.

Meanwhile, it is to be mentioned here that the Urban Affairs Minister, Hamlet Dohling would also visit some locations today to inspect the probable sites where Municipal Office can be shifted.
