Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has announced an ex-gratia amount of Rs 4 lakh each as compensation to the kin of the three children who died in a bomb
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has announced an ex-gratia amount of Rs 4 lakh each as compensation to the kin of the three children who died in a bomb explosion at Chirang village in Anjaw district.
Expressing shock over the incident, Khandu extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
The Chief Minister, in an official communique, cautioned villagers and commoners to avoid danger by going into army firing ranges.
He also requested the army to issue an advisory or put up signboards depicting danger zones or restricted areas.
Earlier, 3 children’s were killed in Arunachal Pradesh’ Anjaw area when a live bomb from the army firing range exploded.
The incident occurred at Chirang village under Hayuling circle late Saturday evening.
The children found the bomb and were playing with it when it exploded. News of this shocking incident was shared by local MLA Dasanglu Pul.
