BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav released the party’s manifesto in Aizwal on Tuesday.
Madhav started his address with a characteristic salvo at the ruling Congress saying the lack of development that has been witnessed in Congress ruled Mizoram in the past 10 years is something which that has not been seen in any other part of the country.
Blaming the alleged selfish attitude of not just the Congress but all preceding governments including the MNF for the current situation, Madhav said it is the selfless attitude of the BJP that the state needs at this hour.
While promising 50,000 jobs, 3 engineering institutes, 2 medical colleges, nursing institutes to the youth of the state, the BJP general secretary also said his party will completely get rid of ‘family rule politics’ culture prevailing within the Congress and that young and energetic leaders will get a chance to lead from the BJP.
Referring to the alleged horrible condition of roads in the state, Madhav promised to make all roads in the state pliable besides announcing four lane roads connecting Aizawl to neighbouring countries like Myanmar and Bangladesh to boost trade opportunities.
