Manipur today joined the rest of the nation in observing National Press Day. The day was organised by the Directorate of Information & Public Relations and the function was inaugurated
Manipur today joined the rest of the nation in observing National Press Day.
The day was organised by the Directorate of Information & Public Relations and the function was inaugurated by Chief Minister N Biren Singh at the 1st Manipur Rifles banquet hall in state capital Imphal.
A workshop on ‘Journalism Ethics and Challenges’ was also held for young reporters.
Apart from this, eight journalists including an editor were conferred with the prestigious Manipur State Journalist award for their outstanding reporting in various beats.
